The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank

The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting hunger in Baton Rouge and the surrounding parishes. Their mission is to collect, store, and distribute food and other essentials to people in need through a network of community partners like pantries, meal sites, shelters, and other nonprofit programs. They also provide educational outreach and programs that support access to healthy food.

The Food Bank serves 11 parishes in Louisiana and works with more than 100 partner agencies to get food to individuals and families who are food insecure.

They offer a variety of services, including food distributions, fresh produce initiatives, backpack programs for children, and SNAP application support.
